To spend holidays in Thailand is to immerse yourself in its beauty. Thailand holidays are something out of a dream. Some of you may be familiar with the book “The Beach”, or perhaps with the movie based on the book, with Leonardo DiCaprio. In the book, a group of people live in an island in Thailand that is virtually deserted (wouldn’t want to spoil you too much, in case you want to watch the movie or read the book), and the island is an absolute paradise on Earth. And they live there virtually for free, as they grow and fish for most of their food and there’s very little that they need to buy and, when they do, it’s all really cheap. Now this is, of course, fiction, as there’s no way the Thai authorities would ever allow you to live in one of their deserted islands, but there is a pinch of truth to it.
It is possible to spend some really cheap time in Thailand if you pick the place correctly. And that may not be the best reason to go anywhere, but if you consider how beautiful the place is and how amazing the beaches are, you do get a lot of bang for your buck.
